(John, THANK YOU!!!!)

I have more experimenting to do snapping fish pics. This one turned out pretty well I thought. Just when I get photoshop up and running again, my dumb self forgot my camera at my folks' house three hours away. :x

Anyway, here it is. Any critiques are welcome and helpful!

Does the hp 935 have a macro mode? Normally the symbol for that is a flower, and the setting allows the lens to focus on subjects only a few cm away.

Thanks!

That is an AWESOME shot. I just love the 'facial expressions' that blennies have!

davlima: Just plan on taking tons of shots. I shoot probably 30-50 photos for every one or two that are usable.

Thanks guys. Yes to what Sharkky said. I bet I have 100+ pictures of that fish. Most of them are with him sitting on his favorite toadstool giving me that puppy dog look.

HD, that's just a brilliant shot. Clarity, composition, everything...

Just great! Keep 'em coming!

Well, B-b-b-blenny and the jets passed away yesterday. :( Sniff, sniff. My heater malfunctioned and got stuck 'on'. The tank water rose to 94 degrees. I didn't realize anything was particularly wrong until I fed my fish and the bicolor blenny (my favorite fish) and the bicolor dottyback weren't eating. I looked around and found them being munched on by hermit crabs. Boo hoo!

So sad...

I lost one coral as well, but I had multiples of it so no biggie.

It sucks- I have not had any casualties in my tanks for SOOOO long now.

At least you caught it before the whole tank turned to stew, huh? Small consolation I know...

Everything looks like crap in the tank now. :( My colt coral has withered to about 1/3 of its original size, and one frag of colt is completely gone. My sarco has drooped over and no longer extends polyps at all. My bubble coral is barely bubbly. My pulsing xenia don't pulse and look as if they've just about melted.

I have done massive water changes and gotten the temperature in check. What more can I do?

Yeah, that's about all I can do.

Well, I'm moving at the end of this month. Then in September, I'm moving again into my new house. At that point I'm setting up a new tank! :D Not sure yet, but shooting for a 120 or 150. Hee hee!
