i like to order the canon rebel digicam (300d)
and i like to know if any one have an experience with this cam ?
how is the macro shots of this cam with the EF-S 18-55 mm lens ?
Yup, that's what happens in a large room with a relatively small flash (all on-board flashes are small). It's not the camera. Wait and get some daylight shots and you'll see the quality of the camera. You can also get your subject closer to a wall so that the flash can bounce into the wall.
Isn't there a function that fires the flash and holds the shutter open for a split second longer to allow the light to hit the back wall and return to the lens? Slow sync, I think it's called. I forget for sure, but there should be a camera function for lighting the background of a shot like that.
Would setting the ISO equivalent to a higher number also help show the background? I always used ISO 400 in my 35mm and never had a problem with dark backgrounds.
I'm also looking at getting one of these beauties. May just borrow a friends and play with it for a weekend to see how I like it.
Put quite simply, the higher the ISO, the faster the film (or in this case, CCD) will record light. You get a much brighter picture, but you introduce more grain to the image.
