Hello,
I have a Sony Cybershot F707. It takes excellent pictures of normal everyday things... but close-ups of moving fish etc. is something that I or my camera have a problem with.
If anybody is familiar with this camera and has some special techniques, it would be very much appreciated.

I'm not sure what is different between the two but...
I use the macro mode when shooting most fish tanks, tank needs to be well lit. The metering mode can be used to help with the lighting and focusing, as well as manually setting the white balance. The 717 can use the Sony HVL1000 flash which is useful as it can be taken off camera for some flash shots. I don't shoot in the fully auto mode, I use the setting with the "P" on the dial. And I play with it a lot to get a feel for what it can do.
