In all honesty, it may not actually be an opercularis...the taxonomy is getting sorted out on these new peppermint things....but it does appear to be one. If it is not a true redstriped hog, it look pretty darn close. The black spot on the gill is hard to see in these pics, but it does have one.

His previous home was the Marshall Islands.

Ya, the last picture of the tail is what puts the most doubt. It could be something undescribed (endemic to marshalls?) which is just as cool
