I started out with a 45 G hex and after much reading here I relized I should have gone bigger so I transfered everything to this 75 G the past few days. Everything went well exept my chocolate starfish didn't make it

No great loss, the chocolate chip star would be more hassle than it's worth in the long run, anyway. Hate to say that about the death of any animal, but I have yet to meet anyone that's been happy long-term with a CC star.

Nice tank you've got running there, and welcome to RDO if nobody's said it yet! :-D

A lot of people use CC stars to feed Harlequin shrimps! 8O :P

In the future, I'd consider swapping out some decoration for live rocks. Yes, I'm trying to get you on the path of a full blown reef! :P It'll be a lot more natural looking and your fish will love ya for it.

Well I got rid of all but a couple of the fake plants and put in a little more live rock and a bunch of base rock. Fish seem happier swimming around in the rocks, altho the wife says that half the tank looks like the surface of the moon. I have a 10 G tank under the stand with a bunch more live rock curing and plan on getting another batch next month.
