i bought my first critters on saturday morning for my 90g, and this finger leather was one of them (plus a small pipe organ, hairy mushroom, 4 snails and 2 cleaner shrimp). i thought i might have been too aggressive with getting the finger on the first wave, but was surprised today when the lights came-on to find that everything totally expanded and the shrimp were out in the open like they owned the tank (and ate out of my hand this afternoon!).
anyhoo, this pic was snapped about an hour after the MH went out while the actinics were still on. i took it on a whim with my cheesy old 2.1 MP fuji fine pix on macro, and was surprised that it actually came-out...
going to keep a sharp eye on my levels and such -- water was pristine across the board before the critters went in and i doubled the drip acclimation time, which seems to have made a difference.
