This must be fixed. Can't believe I didn't even get to the voting. Catching sweeping tentacles can be caught on film every night, but a fish or coral catching another fish, that is a one in a million shot.

I gotta go with the cuttlefish then.

Your picture was 814x614, the rules only allow for a maximum size of 640x640. I almost made the same mistake, I posted mine at 1024x768 at first, then read the rules and realized I needed to make a change, so I recropped my photos. It is hard to get to 640x640 or lower.

Rest assured, there is no "fixing" involved in the finalist selection. It's based on only two critera: 1) adherance to the contest rules and 2) the subjective opinions of the selection panel.

Please note that these discussions should be started in another thread. This thread is for voting purposes only. Thanks.

my error on the picture size. Guess I should have read the rules thouroughly. Although you would think a websavy site like reef.org could figure out how to recrop a picture to 640 x 640.

It's all an illusion. Our "websavy site" is actually operated by two monkeys, one computer, and a hammer.

I know that quote is gonna bite me in the tooshie some time down the line ;)

Split the thread to keep the contest poll clean.

Our apes work for free out of sheer passion for Reefs.org. They gather their own bananas.
