Recently I've seen many pics under the actinic lighting. What setting are people using for this? I've tried to capture the bright green of my hammers, mushrooms, and organ corals, and I'm doing something wrong.
I've got a minolta 4 mp digital. I'm sure there's a setting there for it.. just don't know what to use.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks in advance,
~wings~

Does your camera allow custom white balance? I had to do some trial and error WB to get the exposure I was looking for. Some people luck out with automatic WB settings on their camera, but most don't.

I put a piece of eggcrate in my tank and white ballanced to it. It's not perfect but it's close enough.

With my camera it stores that WB until I change it. SO Now I've got a setting for my tank!
