Based on its foot and habit, I am 99% certain it is a green BTA. Its not unusual for them to be more on the brown side either. If it splits, it will probably reform the bubble-tips for a while until it grows a bit larger again.
What kind of clowns? Have you tried... persuading them? *end Russian accent*
There are several methods with about as much scientific clout (that I know of) as dragons and flying monkeys and Bush's positive IQ, but I think Ive had mild success with my attempted Ocellaris/RBTA combo (before the anemone suddenly died for reasons yet unbeknownst to me)... The little jerks still prefer pestering my Torch in any case... ARGH. Little bastardos...
I have successfully had 3 pairs of percula (true) in BTAs over the past 6 years. And also a pair of skunk clowns. Most entered the anemones within a couple of weeks. I have found its much harder to get the captive raised clowns to take though.
I only have one clown (Amphiprion p.) and he was tank raised at Tropicorium.
I really don't mind, they are both interesting critters on their own. The clown has done well for the two years I have had the tank and the BTA looks good after a year.
