I just posted a question in the general forum to see if anyone has any insight as to why these two have recently gotten a divorce and thought I'd mine as well share the shot (pre-divorce) with the photo folks too.

I feel like a dork for asking this, but I can't place what kind of anemone that is (I'm assuming it's not a coral). It's really beautiful! What is it?

Thanks!

It's actually a purple long tentacle anemone (Macrodactyla doreensis). I was suprised at how blue the picture turned out. It was shot under 2 250watt metal halides with 20K XM bulbs.

Very nice shot! As always, the female seems to have taken most of the property! ;)

Yep, she's definitely running the show. The good news is they are back together after several months of seperation so things are looking good.
