Do you have problems setting your WB under the actinic lights? On my minolta digital, it won't set under just the actinic lights. Is this the correct setting to get the true rich colors that flouresce under the actinic lights?

Any info on this would be really helpful. Thanks! :)

YOU ARE AWESOME... I now have to run home to check this out. I know the camara shoots TIF, so that's probably the problem. Will read up on this, but thanks so much.

Good luck.

Do you have photoshop? If not and you are serious about your photography (digital) you might look into obtaining this software.

Adobe will soon release it's updated/upgraded PHOTOSHOP software. The new photoshop CS2 is slated for a May release. Looks like there are a lot of neat new tools for me to get in trouble with. This seems to "especially" be directed at the digital photographer. I've got my pre-order in allready. I can't wait. WooooTTTT

I don't have it currently, but there's nothing stopping me from picking it up either. :) ... my biggest thing is that under the actinics, my corals glow something crazy... I'd love to pick those colors up, and so far, I've been unsuccessful.

I'm wondering if the camera would change the way it does WB based on the file used. Like if I change it to the TIF setting, would it increase the WB settings? Gotta go home now and check it out. Thanks again.

With photoshop....who needs a camera? I can make anemone or corals any shape, size or color...without even owning any .

Usually if your camera will shoot in RAW...there would be included software to convert this type of file to TIFF/JPEG for web/lab use. Your best bet would be to shoot in RAW and then convert and save in TIFF (for printing) and then also save a high res. Jpeg for web use. (save 3 types of files for each image ).

I would also recommend backing up your "important" images on DVDR/CDR AND another source like an external hard drive. I put all my images on my computer....an external 160gig HD and burn to CDR (soon to be DVD). Do a google search for archival digital imaging (if you want to get really scared about losing your pirzed pics).
