I've had a couple emails come my way over the past couple weeks regarding the photo contests, and I figured the best way to get info out to everyone would be to just post it.
So...updated info regarding the photo contests.
First, there won't be an April contest, for several reasons. First and foremost, I just dropped the ball. Between parenting a very active 5-month-old and working 2 jobs to feed said 5-month-old, I've been going a week at a time between even checking email. RDO is pretty short-handed on the admin-mod front at the moment, so there just wasn't anyone available to pick up my slack. So for my part, I offer my humblest apologies!! It's now the 20-somethings of April, so having an April contest would be pretty much pointless. Hence, we're just going to skip right ahead to a new contest on May 1.
Likewise, we've noticed that although the quality of contest entrants is still very high, the quantity is slipping more and more lately. I attribute it to the fact that with summer coming on, people have much more on their plate. So, that being said, I think the next contest is going to be a 2-month jumbo-contest. I'm wheedling trying to get some extra prizes thrown in the mixer, so it should be a great contest!
Thanks to everyone for continuing to keep the photo forum hopping, even if I can't be around quite as much as I'd like (I miss you guys!!). Look for the new contest on May 1.
