macro mode or not I've learned to make sure you can buy macro lenses before you buy the camera.

I cant find anything for my fujifilm 5100

I have (had, someone just stole it) a c5050 zoom. It is pretty good at macro shots, and does allow you to get pretty close. Keep in mind though, that in a tank, unless its within inches of the glass, that doesn't matter a whole lot. I would rate the olympus macro shots just below the nikon macro shots.

The olympus is just a bit more difficult to get a clear shot on since the flash will not work that close up... you have to have a tripod and use a remote/timer.

Still a good camera though, and underwater housings for them are cheap too. :)

Oh... you can get the diopter sets (tiffen, etc) for the olympus with an adapter ring... lets you do +1, +2, or +4 or combinations thereof... its pretty good for closeups.

As Wade mentioned, I'd recomment Kodak DX6490 which is much cheaper than DX7590. They use the same German made lens. I find its macro shot wonderful I must say. Here's the link to photos taken by Kodak DX6490. I was inspired by that thread with great macro photos.

Here's the couple photos taken by my Kodak DX7590. I didn't use tripod in below photos but it came out not bad nonetheless.
