Hey Ranger, for what purpose will this lens be used for? I really recommend the 60mm micro F/2.8D if you're remotely interested in macros or tank photography. Other then that lens, it's really dependent on what you plan to photograph.
One thing to remember: Lens will stay with you for life (unlike camera bodies), so don't be afraid to invest in a nice one. Second thing to know is that Nikon lenses have incredible resale value, so it's very much like a long term loan.
Thanks for the tips. I am looking for something to shoot macro of the tank and corals. I will check into the 60mm. What is the minimum focal length for it?
