I think they have processor problems in a humid enviorment.
Email Nikon for further details. There was a silent recall on SEVERAL cameras from several makers that used the same processor. The humid enviorment causes the processor to permanently go out of whack and loose rendering ability.
I know they will not focus worth a damn under any thing less than normal
room lighting too

SO night shots are out. My 1st new camera was a nikon cool pix 4600.
I took it to the zoo and couldnt get one good shot (even in doors.)
Very disapointed
I took it back and exchanged it for a Canon Power shot A520 and havent had a problem since.
