WOW, I have to say my favorite is that green (digi?) growing with a red/orange cap growing around/through it. Is there any issues with stinging at all? Or do they not care because they're both from the montipora family. Eitherway, bravo on the pictures.
no issues... just the total domination of the digi by the cap... the cap seems to whirl around the digi in efforts to kill the base of the digi which could kill the whole digi colony (no worries... i have this stuff by the truckload in my frag tank)
keeping the purple cap trimmed back a little seems to keep the grn digi alive.
interesting part.. there is a nearby green yongei that the cap is trying to do the same thing to, but the yongei is winning.
as a tank matures you run into these problems... you can either fight them everday or just let nature takes its course.... i have been somewhere in the middle.
