welp, I think it's time to retire the Coolpix 995

My fiancee has a Nikon d70, and I think it's about time I learned how to use it. I can get about $350 for my 995 with all the extras I have from eBay, so it'll put more cool corals in the tank that I can learn on with the d70.

Any d70 users have any tips for me? Does it have an auto-focus?

I have a D70 and love it. I still consider myself an amateur so some of its power is over my head. I especially like the battery power and speed of continous shots. It is manual or autofocus.

I also use the D70. It has auto focus but I hardly ever use it, especially with the macro lens. Its kinda a pain in the butt. The 60mm lens I have is a dream beacuse it has a "limit" on it so the autofocus doesn't spend 5 mintues going all the way out and then all the way back in again to foucs on something. I much prefer manual.

Actually on the D70S version they put out after the D70 I believe the autofocus was one of the things they improved on.
