Hi all,
I'm starting to work on a web page that will show pictures of the species and varieties of corals that we are farming here in American Samoa.
We have lots of zooanthid and encrusting Montipora sp that will require some close up photos to show colors. Being a non-profit org our budget is tight and I need to find the best camera to do the job for the price.
I have made two photographing tanks for the work one is 8" front to back and the other is 12" Lighting will be natural, PC. and MH I will add VHO lighting to the lighting types later when I can get the bulbs here intact.

You can e-mail suggestions directly to [email protected]

Thanks for the help

Nikon Coolpix 880. You can get them on eBay for $75-100 and the macro on them is stellar. Nearly all of my photo contest entries were shot with them, and all of my shots were with either the 880 or the 995 which have the same macro capabilities. You can't go wrong for the money.

Peace,

Chip
