I like your tank. Great choice in corals. Am also looking for a flower pot, the Alveopora kind as they are a bit easier then the gonie. Although both are considered to be difficult. I wish you the best with yours. By the way they supposedly do not like alot of flow, and I hope you don't have a clown in the tank with it.

yeah i have 2 perculas in with it.they pay no attention to it.i have it in a very low flow area of my tank.i have had it for around 1 month and is doing extremely well

that bubble is actually alot biggerthan what it looks like in the pic.i also have the 2 frags thats right on top of that bubble that are not doing to well.im keeping faith though

in pic 4 you can notice some green algae im having some trouble with.any suggestions on relieving that prob

if you ever look at the bubble at night, it lets out tentacles. Think thats part of the problem i think with the bubble/frags but i haven't seen your tank up close so.

Also whats your lighting, your levels of the tank, how long its been set up...blah blah... u know the deal Duke =0P without any of that info we can;t tell you how to stop the green algae or whats going on with the frags. Better up close picture also of them would help.

algae could be PO4 problem (you will know if your testing with a good test, instant ocean doesn;t work) Algae grows due to high nutrients, high Po4 levels, low flow, alot of factors. If your talking about the algae in the sand, people usually get it as the tank matures along with high Po4. Also after you correct the problem make sure you scrape it well and move the sand thats touching/around it.

The Goniopora looks great btw. (flowerpot is alveopora i think) Keep it fed and check out http://www.goniopora.org/

The site is great and people there know alot about them. They are hard to keep alive for a long time. Usual survival time on them is about 5-7 months and noone knows why. Also from what i have seen is indirect (waves) flow patterns is what it likes the best.

its been up since feb 7 07.i have 250 mh x 2.i didnt even think of the bubbles tentacles ill move it tonight.my amm nitrates nitrites are 0 and ph steady 8.4.cal alk are are 400 and i cant remember alk but the chart on salifert says it was good range.my phos should be perfect i have phosban reactor going with my fuge.i havent checked that in awhile.i wrote another thread talking about my prob with green algae growing under my fuge light that may be creating the algae prob near edge of sand going up the glass.as for the flower,it is also grwing some new spuds on the bottom ill post a pic tonight
