I like using tripod, that way it will minimize the blur when taking pic.. Unless your camera is able to do high ISO with little noise. I find my pic to be sharper when on tripod,

I usually use my Tamrom 90mm with my D90, but on the last two shot i was playing with my Nikon 35mm 1.8. I think the most important is the tripod and then setting the correct shutter and aperture to my liking..

yeah, the Olivia's aka pastel rainbows look really nice! the 2nd pic reminds me of the Polish Prince zoas
