Help watchman gobie stuck in between overflow chamber. What can i do?

force him to go down and catch him when he gets to the sock...

Use a 1.25"+ tube and siphon him out.

pull the plug Seriously, if your durso standpipe is not glued (shouldn't be) just pull it out and your goby will take a ride to the sump. Just make sure you have a filter sock or net to catch him and that the water from the overflow chamber will not overflow your sump.

He is not were the durso pipe is, I shut the pump off when he was about to get sucked in and went down the wall of overflow were the slot are. I can see him swimming in the threw the slots in the bottom of the overflow. Thanks

Yes, what I wanted to say is to remove the whole intake pipe from the slot, that way the goby will be sucked with the water in the overflow box.

Gobie safe

Hey guys, the gobie was in my sump this morning. He was not in the durso or return pipe area. He was in between the overflow wall that runs all the way down the front of the overflow wall. It was a very deep and confined area. You can only get a very slim tube in there. There was no way to extract him .He is out now, so thanks for all the suggestions guys. Happy reefing even do i have a fowlr aquarium.

I am guessing with the constant water flow he swam up and went into the compartment were the durso pipe is. He was small to get sucked in threw the durso pipe.

all is well that ends well. ive had clowns, jawfish and a cleaner wrasse in my overflow. that was after i put my top on, before that i had a really nice snowflake clown and a bsj on the floor... overflow is better.
