I have a question and everyone tells me different answers.

I am using Elos kit for NitrAte
My question is... when you do a reading, do you put the test bottle on the paper or just an inch away from it to check the COLOR.

Whats the correct way?!?!

put em side by side thats how i usually distinguished between the tough color to color comparisons
