hi all i just picked up a feather duster the first day it was fine the next day it only came out of its casing in the morning before the lights came on and now it came all the way out of its casing and is next to it whats up ? i have a 92 corner reef ready 110 lbs live rock a few mushrooms zoos and two anemone with 192 watts of pc light all else is fine thanks pete

i had that happen on a small duster about 2 years ago. i took the worm and put it in a deep small hole that just fits it. it grew its skin and feather and i still have it.
92 corner bow? thats a very nice tank :thrash:

I've had them 'jump ship' too. They will do that when stressed. I've found that they do it when placed in a new environment (stress). When the new tube forms, many times it attaches directly to a rock. Maybe it feels more secure that way? Who knows?
