Hey everyone,

had a silly question, would it be alright if i used a new stright edge razor to get some of the algae off my glass...it's annoying me.
I'm real nuts about whatever goes into the water [hands...ect] and just wanted to make sure the metal of the razor won't screw up the tank before I tried.

Thanks for the advice in advance

I've been using a toothbrush (bought new for this purpose). My 2 clowns chase it when I clean the tank. They sometimes bump it so I'd be nervous about a blade, but whatever works for you.

When you start getting coralline, if it hasn't happened already, you'll find that a toothbrush won't work so easily. That stuffs a pain in the royal as$ once it starts growing rapidly.

I use a razor blade too, works wonders for glass. I'd use it once and dump it. They're too cheap to risk scratching your tank.
