over my head with my sump

been struggling to get my tank set up properly and have accidentally cracked two 10 gallon sumps and I'm thinking about building a bigger acrylic one. does anyone know what type of acrylic and glue and where on long island i can get it.

my problem is my stand is to narrow for premade sump i only have 12 inches across

Would be easy to set up a 20gal aga for a sump. Just get some acrylic panels from Home Depot....cut and silicone them in for baffles.
Just curious ....how did you crack 2 10gl tanks??

What size tank you setting up? A 15 might be 12" as wel, not 100%

The problem with those tanks are that they measure 12 on the in side and actual dimensions are 12 1/2. The one tank I cracked when I dropped a hack saw and the other I did adjusting the external pump

you need to find an amiracle slimline 50 wet dry. remove the bio balls and silicon in some baffles. I used this on my 55 gallon reef a few years back and it fits in the stand perfectly. unfortunately i sold it years ago.

use a 20 long, same width as a 55. 10's are hard because the glass is so thin.
