hey guys i have this problem,i have what appears to be aipatasia and its attached to my cucumber.how should i approach this? should i just ditch the cucumber?will take pics in a few.thanks

i mean at first i thought it was some type of polyp but i really dont thinks so.i got a syringe so im going to have to inject with boiling water.i like the cucumber and i dont want to have to get rid of it:irked:

I don't know that I would use boiling hot water around my cucumber. :) How long has it been on there? Maybe it will fall off from the continous movement, of course, requiring you to search, like the dickens, for it. Just be careful.

Use a syringe and inject with Alk that will get kill it. You can pull it off as well. Or you can wait till he sheeds his skin and it will come off then as well. But like ezee said then you will be going nuts to try and find it. Just do the Alk and it will be dead in a couple of mins. Or you can get some joes Jouce that works really well.

mine was like a hair over an inch and didnt retract till i gave a lethal injection of boiling water then i peeled him of without trying to leave anything behind.
