What kind of pump do I have?

I am trying to figure out what kind of pump I have. The only marking that I can see is a CE and a UL inside a circle. It is submersible.

The reciept says Eheim 1260, but I remember the guy who set it up saying that it had to be changed to fit in my sump.

Any thoughts?

eheims are pretty easy to ID can you take a pic ?

i think most new eheims have their name across them in big red letters.

Eheim do have the name printed on the pump. You really couldn't miss it, unless it is covered with coraline or something else.

No, it looks nothing like the eheim picture. It is all black. Next time it needs cleaning, I will take a pic of the entire thing.

sounds like a mag, or some other pump, anything but an eheim, sorry.

It looks like this, except that it has a little handle on top. This is a ViaAqua. Most times when I type in ViaAqua, Rio comes up as well. Does anyone know if they are made by the same company?

That looks like it. If it really is, I am not happy that I paid $220 for it!

Judging by the looks of it, it's a sedra without the outlet screwed into the outlet housing.

Found the label!! It is a Sen 900. Definitely not the Eheim 1264 that I paid for!!!!

It is partly my fault, because I wanted everything to fit inside the cabinet. However, they should have told me what they were doing, asked my opinion, and refunded me accordingly.

I am going to keep this pump and use it for water changes...

Neither are Eheim 1260s :scratch: Who charged you that much? That's some premium, even with labor to install a sump pump. :irked: They apparently figured you'd never know the difference once it was in place.
