Petco brand white aquarium sand

Hello all.
I made the mistake of visiting petco today.
I saw a new store brand they have called Petco white aquarium sand.
The packaging says that it doesn't change aquarium chemistry which tells me it isn't aragonite. It made no mention of silica. Can someone shed some light?

put a sample of the sand in a jar of white vinegar and let us know what happens

I wish I could but I didn't buy any. Didn't want to chance it

Better off, when in doubt that's right move until you can look into it

I will test the petco black sand for you tomorow. I use it in my freshwater tanks and love it. It doesn't cloud the water when you add it. The majority of it sinks right away and some of it will float. Once you agitate the surface a little it will sink instantly.
