I have one spot in my tank on the glass near the sand and the algae I have to scrub to get it off, what could it be? I also touched it and I really had to scratch it with my nail to get it off. Its a bright green and the turbo snails get it off but not very tubro like lol.

Any ideas what this is? Id like to get it off myself cause its an eye sore.Ill get pic tonight

I had the same in my tank for awhile. I got my phosphate levels down and haven't seen it lately. You can scrape it off with a razor blade or a hard bristled tooth brush, but you should test your phosphate levels and reduce your levels if need be.
