The other day I was looking around my tank and noticed on the bottom maybe these 10-12 reddish worms, it kinda looked like thick hair but they were moving and they were all coming from the same place. ANy clue what these might be?

My camera is no where good enough to catch them thats how thin they were. They looked about 3-4" long. In the morning nothing was there, I will try to catch a photo but i doubt it will come out.

spaghetti worm. what you are seeing are the tentacles, the body of the worm is usually hidden in the sand or in a hole in the rock. these are a sign that you have LIFE in your tank. celebrate!

i've got those guys all over the place too. but i thought spaghetti worms were white? are there color variations? because i have lots of places on my LR where there are multiple "tentacles" sticking out into the water from the same hole. they're very thin too. They don't look like brittle stars. i thought those were spaghetti worms.
