i have these tiny shrimp in my tank there to small and to fast to take a pic.i see them at night with the flashlight.there not pods,well not at least ones that i have seen that live in the lr.any clue?i believe that they came from a rock that i got from a fellow reefer.

Without a pic it's almost impossible to identify. However, from your description it sounds like it could possibly be a pistol shrimp. Mine is smaller than the fingernail on my pinky.

This is a Randalli Pistol Shrimp

This shrimp will dig in the substrate underneath rocks. So if this is the same as yours, make sure your rocks are not sitting on the sand, but pushed down deep to the glass bottom. Otherwise, the shrimp digging could topple your rockwork and crash into your glass, cracking it.

pics would be impossible being that the crevices there in is kinda deep and i only see them at night and there a lil smaller than the i on your keyboard.and they dont look like the image you linked i wished they did but these things are really tiny.

nah i have pods and they dont look like that.there not hunchedover like that and seeing one in my sump close up its a shrimp.basterd wont stay still long enough for me to take a pic,besides damn dog chewed up my usb for my olympus:irked: so i cant transfer pics to pc:supermad: :banghead: .who can find me the link to those 50,000 dogs clubbed in china:smash: . j/k
