i noticed today i have flatworms on my new mushrooms.. i know i know, i did some searches and it said to use flatworm exit but you also need to siphon them out. and fish that eat them doesnt really work so that is out of the question. can i siphone them off of my mushrooms? is this possible? thanks

First off welcome to manhattan Reefs!

Secondly, sure you can siphon them off. Just use a smaller siphon hose than you normally would so you have enough suction to get the flatworms off from a little distance but still not enough to pull tremendously on the shroom.

i use one of those little suction tube you use to suck the water to your test tube to suck it out.
and i put the shroom in a cup of fresh water for like 5 seconds, all those flat worms fall out right away, don't know if this is the right way to do it. try it in your own risk.

I have used airline tube and the rigid airline hose and just siphoned them off the shrooms and into a cup. Eventually you will rid your tank of the worms. Don't need to use anything else.
