Toadstool

Hi,

Have a question about my toadstool...

The tentacles on my toadstool are extremely short, nothing like many of the toadstools I've seen in the gallery. Is something wrong with it or do I just have a different kind of toadstool?

Take a pic of it let us see what you're talkin about. Mine extends it's tentacles when it's hungry and pulls em back when it's full.

I didn't think toadstools ate anything (visible, anyway). If they're supposed to, mine must be awfully hungry, having gone over a year and half on a starvation diet!

take a pic tangale.... and also tell us ur exact water par... lighting u have, and equipment u use..

A picture would definitely help. I think that some have long, wavy tentacles and others have short, stiffer ones.

I've had a few kinds.



This Toadstool had long "polyp" type tentacles (accepted target feeding of cyclo).

This type had short rounded white tips (did not accept target feeding).

i saw one in one member's house the tentacles are much longer than the 1st pic shown (about 3" long), is it just a different type of toadstool?

there r many types of toadstool leathers. They also have many colors,shapes,n sizes.

taking good pics takes some experience n knowedge. o n also a good camera:lol: generally, manual settings r used(with marco,w/o flash,adjust background lighting,etc).prep work r also used(ie clean front glass, move coral to glass,shut off all pumps,etc)
there r a lot of gr8 photoghaphers here on MR(me not 1 of them):lol:
