Everyone told you to get a skimmer, and you swore you had one. This site has been a great asset and the reason my tank looks as good as it does, but the experience of every reefer here can't help if you're not honest. You need to do some research and ask questions before you do things or you'll end up frustrated when your tank fails.
Making mistakes is normal, I've made quite a few being new to this hobby as well, but you have to admit them and not find one person's opinion that validates what you did.
I Did Get One But Didnt Fit In The Back Of My Tank So I Had To Return It ,the Space Behind The Tank Is Very Limited So The One I Bought Didnt Fit,im Moving To A House Soon So When I Set Uo My Tank There I Will Leave Space For It. I Was Not Being Dishonest I Bought It At Petland $149.95 125 Gallon Needle Wheel Skimmer. When I Wrote The Thread I Had It But Not Installed. And my dad bought the fluval because his friend that has a 125 gallon reef tank for 5 years recommended it to him.
ReefLady, try some of the online stores for your dry goods such as Drsfostersmith.com, premiumaquatics.com, thatpetplace.com and others that other people here can recommend. You could save a alot of money. I only purchase dry goods from the lfs in emergencies.
