even mine drunk?
if I were to go with an all in one, itwould be the finnex 30 all glass w/refuge. check it on my tank thread under my new finnex 30. Im very pleased with it. I would not go with the stand it comes with though. place it on something more sturdy and solid.

Finnex is coming out with a new Mtank mid october. The same 20 and 32 gallon but beeing able to modify what your getting with it. Can upgrade to Mh when you buy it without having to let the PC's they usually come with sit in the closet.

=0) Waiting for an email i sent them today about the actual time and vendors selling them.

I just sold mine, uhm well the pros would be its easy to setup just add water. The cons I had a problem with the overflow..water was flowing from below rather than on top because they have this self adjusting type water exhchange on it where you can set where you want the water to be filtered but it doesnt work too well without modification. The second con is it runs really hot during the summer you have to change the fans, i had half my coral die to heat..im sure the 100 degree week had a lot to do with it but the fans arent that great. The pump needs to be upgraded to something like a maxijet. Its not bad as it sounds it nice and easy to set up and for $200 you get everything you need. There is a smaller skimmer you can get for it for like $40

yeah, if you go witht he aquapod or the JBJ nano, both have a tendancy to run hot. Mine was at 86 when i was cycling and ended up spending 130 for the ICA chiller to cool it down. And modded the fans from the 60mm to the 80mm and got the system down to 72 which is alot more than the 5 degree expected i would get from what everyone was saying.

Wait for the finnex or if you want spend the cash and set the system up yourself.

I'll post when i find out about the new finnex tanks and when they are out and who is selling them.

Mak , as you know I have the Aquapod 12. That was a gift for my ex, and during the summer she had a baby, and the heat pretty much destroyed everything. If I had to make a decision, I would definitely wait for the Finnex M30 with MH lighting.
In theory the aquapods/jbj nanos, sound like a great idea. But it will be like buying a moped when you really want a Harley. It runs nice, but sometimes you don't want anyone know you have one, lol.
I will keep my pod until I move and get my own place, then I guess I will start thinking of something bigger... like a 10000000000 gazzillion tank, lol

I may sell my AP24 with the S stand if your still interested in it. thought id set it up in my office but seems like I wont be able too. Its the deluxe version, I would buy a new maxijet 1200 pump for it. no scratches and in great condition. looking for $200 w/stand.
My finnex kicks the crap out of it and when I build my 1000 gallon, the finnex goes to the office. If I were you, id buy the finnex M tank even if its more than you wanted to pay and you will pay. $450 with the regular lights and and another large amount if you want the MH lighting and yes they have the MH for it already, I just didnt need it for what im keeping in it. Im too damn honest. good luck and i hope you make the right decision whatever it is. I hope I didnt throw a wrench in to your plans. yes, youll save with the AP24, but will you be happy with it. Mabe... I know I thought I would before I bought the finnex...

I have an aquapod 24 that's been sitting in my garage for three months, waiting to find the time to set it up. I bought two maxi 900; one on a hydor flo and one on some locline.

The reason I went with an all-in-one was for the closed hood. With four children and four cats running around I can't afford having an open top system. Twice already, the girls have dumped a whole can of food in their little 2 gallon tanks.

hmmmm Is this a aquapod 24? Do you have a pic of it? Pic for the tank and the stand? hmmm now let me think..
Well, I don't think I need the MH light also, all I want to keep is just fish, and maybe some zoo and acros.. will the light enough for them?

Or maybe you can sell me your Finnex M-Tank when your 10000 gallon is up at home, and decide need a bigger tank in your office... :D
Thanks

I have only see the front of the Aquapod, never see the back of it.. Is it same as the Finnex that have a mini sump in the back? or not at all? And where in Manhattan? :)
