Lighting Question

I have the Orbit Extreme 520 watt pc lights. Just wanted to get the groups opinion on it. Got this as an alternative to mh due to heat, lack of a chiller and expense. What size is the tank?

Keep in mind its not only the amount of watts the lights put out. Spectrum is key when choosing bulbs. The quality of light is also a big factor, which is why 520 watts of PC dont match 520 watts of metal halides.

What are you planning to keep in it? For softies like shrooms and some low-moderate light LPS that should be OK- but if you are going to be keeping a wide variety of corals or want a clam you will probably want to upgrade to t-5 lights if you don't want to deal w/ MH heat issues...

That Was What I Was Planning On Keeping, No Clams. I Just Didn't Know If That Light Would Be Enough. Thanks!!
