Quick question. Is 260 watts of PC light over a 75 gallon tank enough for a bubble tip anemone?

Perhaps, if the water conditions are pristine. What are your nitrate and phosphate levels? How old is the tank?

The tank is about 6 months old.
Nitrates= 3 ppm
Phospates= .4 ppm
sg=1.027

Each anemone requires different lighting. For example BTA's can do well under fluorescent light but others like Long Tentacle Anemone require more intense metal halide lighting.

Of the symbiotic anemones, [SIZE=-1]Entacmaea quadricolor[/SIZE] (BTA) are reported to require the least intensive lighting.

live aquaria lists LTAs under "moderate" lighting and BTAs as "moderate to high" lighting. i'd go with experience over live aquaria any day though. thanks deanos.

which anemone out of all of them need the least amount of lighting? im trying to find a host for my sebea clown.. i have 220 watts on a 55 gallon. im thinking about an upgrade but as of now there are a few other things i wnat first so.
