Please give some suggestions.

I am getting some rocks from my friend's FOWLR system. I made sure that he didnt use any copper in his tank. The issue is, those rocks were live and were in his FOWLR tank two months ago. For the last 2 months, the rocks were not in the water. So I guess now it is not LR. But how should I treat this rock and how long, before i introduce them to my current system.

Please give some suggestions. Your time and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I would think just cleaning it in SW would be good, im assuming its dead LR (or thats what I call it lol), thats usually cheaper than LR and used as base? someone will correct me im sure before I even finish this post

Once you have confirmed that no copper is present on the rocks, rinse the dust off them and place in your tank. With time, they will become live rock.

Scarf, mine is a 60G tank. Currently I have more than 80lbs of LR.

I have Green Star Polyps, Xenias (3 types), Kenya tree, Frogspawn, some Zoos, Brain.
And some fishes.

Once you have confirmed that no copper is present on the rocks, rinse the dust off them and place in your tank. With time, they will become live rock.

Well you can do nothing and put them in the tank and you will probably be fine. If you want to be extra cautious then you could put them in boiling water for abotu 5-10 mins and let them cool down before puttign them in the tank.

I personally would take the LR and stick it in a bucket with a power head and a heater for a few weeks. Even after 2 months, there might be some organic remains that could decay when re-hydrated in your main tank. If there is no measurable ammonia or nitrites in the bucket after 2 weeks, and no new unwanted life that reappears (unlikely, I know, but.....), only then would I place it in your main tank.

Boiling them would ensure the rock is dead, but anything that could possibly die might still release organics in your tank, so even a 1 or 2 day wait in water before throwing them in might still be a good idea.

I know it sounds like overkill, but to to so easily eliminate the remote chance of placing something in your main tank that you will regret, I don't see the harm. Just MHO.

I see what Henrye is saying, and honestly I do see it may be overkill, but I agree with him. Since this rock was in a FOWLR, I'd be willing to bet the owner didn't keep PO4 in check as well as a reefer might. Your rock is POSSIBLY a little heavy on PO4 which can leach out into your tank and may lead you to blame the wrong thing for any early on algae issues.
If you must go right into your tank with it, I would add a PO4 reactor. They are a small cost yet very good investment for any reef anyway. If you want to take your time before adding it to your tank, you can soak the rock in an RO/DI vinegar solution. I believe Jhale did this. You can ask him the ratio and how long he did it for.
I know, it seems overkill. It may very well be overkill. But IMO, there is no such thing as overkill when it comes to cleanliness on a reef.

Thanks for the input. I appreciate every one for your time taken to give me suggestions. So based on all the above inputs, this waht I have did. I did gave a boiled water wash for the rocks and I have kept those rocks in a 30G tank with a PH, heater and a fluval filter with phospan media. I will get a phospan reactor ASAP. I will leave the rock minimum 2 weeks there before I add my rocks to the tank. I am not in a hurry. So I will be fine with that. I think this will help a little bit untill I get my po4 reactor.

I thought I will update this thread. I tested the Ammonia and surprisingly it is 1.00 ppm. So I did a complete water change. I will test the water after a week.
