which one is better falso or true percula

ok my husband and i are in a discussion but we cannot come to a decision, we want to get a percula but dont know to get the false or the true percula, one website stated that that the difference is just becuase one is tank raised and the other from ocean, and another site stated there is no difference in size.

can someone explain to me the difference and which one will be better to get.

I don't believe there's any differences in care. Both species can be bought tank-raised or wild-caught. They are found in 2 different locations in the wild though, but readily accept the other as a mate :hug:

"Better" is a subjective term.

ok i thought they was a grand difference on the size and their temperant but i guess their appearance and their origin is the only difference.

It has nothing to do with ocean vs. aquacultured. They're 2 different species, (Amphiprion ocellaris and Amphiprion percula) and according to Scott Michael's "Marine Fishes", true percs can be slightly more aggressive than the false and true percs tend to have dark patches around the white stripes. Otherwise both fine species for the reef.
