Does your tank have any livestock in it? If not just put it in your tank and let it cycle. Marrone is selling a remora at a very good price you should look at that.

I wouldn't waste my money on a weak skimmer to help remove die off from your live rock. IMO you should use the skimmer that you plan to run on a future tank (if you have one)

or

Run a phosban reactor on the bin, scrub and shake loose detritus off rocks, and perform BIG water changes.

I have nothing in my tank right now. I don't want to cure it in my tank due to odor. The tank will be set up in the living room, the odor may be a problem:smile: . I want to cure the rock in a RM brute in a spare bedroom.

Thats true, I can use the skimmer I'll be using for my tank. However, I won't have the skimmer until the 4th or 5th day of the curing process.
