will this di unit be good enough?

ok i was checking dr foster and smith for and do di unit and ran across this.
will this be good enough i just have a 10 gallon and a 6 gallon that is running for now, and soon i will be turning my 55 gallon tank into saltwater, but still contemplating about that

any opinions are very much needed.lol

The short answer is "yes", it will be good enough. Although as discussed in this thread, I think it is not as cost effective as a ro/di unit.

Long run, this will cost you more than an RO/DI unit (actually, within about 3 months it will have cost you more than an RO/DI unit). It's good enough, but really not worth it.

Agreed. You'll be better off with an RO/DI.

That system uses mixed bed resin, which you'll have trouble recharging. DI only systems don't make sense if you can't recharge the resins easily.
