do balists need to be in an open space or can i enclose it in my stand

They put off a lot of heat. If you have it in your stand with a sump you will notice the heat. I also thinks its a bad idea to put it next to possible water. This is NOT something you would want to have water hit.

well i closed off one part of my stand and made shelves it wont be near water.i didnt close the back off thats why i was wondering if i can close the back off so i dont hear the sound or leave it open and deal with the hum
