We just got one. How should I exspect them to behaive?
The reasearch I have looked up on them - doesnt talk about day to day behaivor- if anyone has a link that would be great.

In the beginning- he would hide when the lights were on and come out at night. But yesterday he stayed out front not moving.... just all tucked into a rock & coral spot. it is hard to tell if he is feeling ok or not.

i have a black cuke that came w/ 3 others on my TBS LR. unfortunately, unless they're buried in the sand, i only have 1 of the 4 original cukes. maybe the others starved? But to further answer your question, mine alternates time on the sand with time hanging from the glass. he moves very slowly, but in 20 minutes you will usually be able to tell that he moved and is okay.
