Adding sand to tank with LR.....

I guess, I should shut off the Sump pump, both powerheads and skimmer. I'm sure the tank will get cloudy. At what point do I turn my equipment back on?

About an hour or so.Wait for it to clear.

turn off the powerheads slowly add sand and turn powerheads back on let it settle and your good to go.

:shhh: Well, yes, I know how to use the search tool and did know about the other thread. I could have used that thread to ask my question, but Jhov topic was HOW to add sand. That was not my question. My question pertained to turning equipment off and at what point to turn equipment back on :smash: . ZANYMASTER and deelucky have answered my question:wink1:
