Recently, this past Saturday just setup my ne w 75 Gallon. And notice many tiny bubbles in my tank and on the rocks. In addition my rocks seem to be turning color, like brown.....Any idea. Hope its nothing serious. There is no corals in my tank yet. Just fish only, same fish I had from previous tank.

In my 20G long tank (sump I have a Aqua C-180 Skimmer pump connected to a mag7) on the return a Mag9.5. Inside the sump I have lots of live rock. One more thing, I have no live sand (bare bottom) using cutting boards. Thought to give as much information to see if I am doing something wrong or missing something. Hope I can get an answer or HELP!!! from the pros here at MR.
Thanks

Sounds like Diatom algae to me. But if you set up the tank this past Saturday, then the algae shouldnt be coming this quick.
First off, did you use Revese Osmosis water?
Were your rocks cured?

But honestly you shouldnt fret, these are typical occurrences with a newly set tank. It can take close to a year for a tank to stabilize biologically. The beginning months are the hardest.

Hey Johnny!
Your Brown diatom algae is cause by silicate!!! I'm assuming that silicate is present in bottles of Deerpark! *^^* Well most people can quickly suck out portions of it, its better to remove their energy source, silicate!
Here is the Rx for your problem:
desire level of pH is around 8.41-8.46 ; slowly drip Kalkwasser into your tank, you'll precipitate silicate, phosphate and add calcium!
do this and it will all go away in about a week!

Sincerely,
