Ok here it goes. I jumped in with both feet and both eyes closed. Been posting threads, and everyone here has been great in helping me and pointing me in the right direction.

I realize now, with age...... that patience patience patience is a virture and VERY much needed in this hobby if one is to succeed. I am in the process of seeting up a 65gal reef tank.

So far I wil be using a Pro Clear 125 sump and a Magdrive 7. I have 80lbs of live sand, and will be purchasing LR in the nest few days. I will take progress pics so that I can share them with you.

As far as skimmers go. You guys got your point across that that is one piece of equipment I should not skimp on. After doing alot of research on skimmers, I have decided to go with a Tunze 9010.

This so far will complete my first stage of my reef tank. I'll be going to back to lurkin on here and looking into my lighting system next. So again I thank you and look forward to constructive critism when I start posting some pics.
Thanx
Joey

Tunze makes some of the best pumps that money can buy. I can't say the same of their skimmers. Everyone that I know that has used them has switched to something else.

I would reconsider.
