White Dots on Glass.....

I got hundred's maybe thousands of these lil white dots all over the tank glass. They are shaped like lil round circles and then it looks like legs or something kinda like a star fsih shape, kinda like if you drew a kiddy pic of the sun. What the hell is this??:Yikes:

WOW really? Do they come in on the LR?

i have them right now also.my 90 is pretty new but some rock and a few fish are from my old 29gal.im not sure where they come from but the get there.after about 8 months to a year you'll start getting qtip sponge.enjoy the crazy growing things.

Should I clean them off the glass or just leave them? And thanx Grisha for the link. Seems like the same things I got on my tank.

i clean them off because after awhile it obstructs my view and it pisses me off.j/k.nah when ever i clean up i wipe them off.

Sounds like you're talking about copepods, REALLY small and scurry across the glass every once and a while. If thats them it's a good sign and a natural food for some fish and corals.

Not sure if they're moving. Been trying to see but I can't tell. They are tiny. MAybe around the size of a grain of salt.

i have them also on my glass they come off easy with a cleaning pad but in 2 days they are back.

I'm about 99% sure they are good - they could be tiny stars, they could be pods - they are on your glass to eat plant life that is on your glass. You can clean them off - don't worry, they're on other parts of the glass that you can't see and they're also in your sand and on your rocks - you won't kill all of them.

Not at all. The only thing I'm saying is that I don't see them moving around on the glass.
