Nanocube custom add-ons

Just got the Sapphire Aquatics Protein Skimmer and the NVM Moonlight wiring harness fix for the JBJ 24g Nanocube.

After about 10 minutes of easy re-wiring the fix allows you to take the moon lights off the main power source and can have on a seperate plug and therefore...timer. The protein skimmer fits in the 1st chamber like a glove...excited to see how the skimmer turns out.

Has anyone used this skimmer before?

Any interesting custom jobs done on Nanocubes that I should think of adding?

Nano forums and other places say they <3 that skimmer. I've only heard good things. Its small and works well and i'm looking to get one for my moms nano.

I have had the skimmer for 3 or 4 months, maybe longer, lol. The skimmer works wonders I had to do some mods on my AP 12, but they are well worth it... the skimmer from Saphire is really great. I definitely recommend it to any nano cuber, nano aquarists, etc.

Day two of the skimmer in and the micro bubbles aren't bad at all. I also picked up the APC UPS 1300 and have my heater, lighting and pumps going through that which gives me piece of mind if the power ever goes out.
