If everyone thinks thats a good skimmer, I'm definitely interested in that Ming. Keep me in mind when your ready to sell. I would like to build a sump. That was gonna be my next questions thread. Its off topic so I wont ask it here.

So, steeldude is selling a "Coralife Super Skimmer 220 gallon model." Is that a good skimmer? Would it be good for my tank (again, 33 gallon long, 48x12x12).

Seaclones must have great marketing or something. It seems that most of use have crossed paths with the infamous seaclone protein skimmer. As others said, don't waste your $$

They must be very cheap for distributors say $25 and resell for $100. I was sold one by unnamed fish store and they said for the money was very good. I'm on a limited budget unlike scumonkey and his 7 month old tank. (Hey bro what do you do for a living and can you get me a job). I want to upgrade does anyone have DIY plans for making one. or should I continue to work on the seaclone daily until I can buy a good one?

Yo As a fine artist, you won't believe what kind of Limited budget I have to work with!
I have to do TONS of daily maint. on my tank cause I had to go the inexpensive way- home built tank, used equipment, coral trades or inexpensive buys from fellow MR members, freebies etc....
My skimmer is a way crappy FREE Coral life superskimmer - but I deal with the floods etc.!
I have the advantage of being an old fart with 37 years salt experience so
I probably can get away with a little more?!
GET THE BEST SKIMMER YOU CAN'T AFFORD The First time!!!!
I'm still saving my pennies for something like a Becket!
With a GOOD skimmer my tank would really ROCK:thrash:
