Can someone identify this? i first thought it was aptasia but it looks more like some kind of feather duster! 8)

Looks like a feather duster to me too if I am interpreting the image correctly. The extensions are coming out of the white and green tube object, below and to the right of them?

Yes, that is correct the white skirt does not go quite all the way around the tube and is about the size of a quarter, I generally kill all aptaisa that i see in my tank but this looks different. I have seen two of them so far they are just hitchhikers i guess.

I've got these too. They are Pomatosteges stellatus, the Horseshoe Worm.

Not harmless and they do multiply a little (at least in my experience). Kinda neat to watch them grow too.
